Cut

The cut of a diamond does not refer to its shape.  The cut refers to the diamond’s make, or correct proportioning of a diamond’s angles and facets, which greatly determine its brilliance, liveliness, and fire.  The cut of a diamond can make or break a diamond’s visual appeal.  Diamonds should be priced per carat according to the diameter of a correctly proportioned diamond.
